I wouldn’t worry to much on the dog front I think they’ve probably just tried to trip you up to see your intentions. Our dog doesn’t have any paperwork regarding a passport or visa she just has all the necessary paperwork to be able to fly again if and when necessary.

Couple of things for clarity here if that’s ok. What visa have you arrived on? Non-o or 60 day setv visa high you will extend giving you a total of 90 days?

I came here with my dog nov 22’ and was on setv, we were never questioned about onward travel and we arrived with the intention of staying much longer.

My best advice would be find an agent that does this kind of thing daily.
