Ed visa can give you up to a year learning Thai or Muay Thai.

Anything past that involves having a bit of money to play with, ie opening a business or applying for the dtv visa.

Yes you have to apply for the 60 day setv before arriving in the country.

With your current visa exemption you can only extend once for 1900 baht at local immigration office.
