Hi everyone, sorry, this is a long one and, possibly, an unusual question. Not sure if anyone has had similar experiences. I have finally arrived in Bangkok with my dog and have a few days before the onward journey.

Everything went well at the airport, I have my 90 day visa and the dog went straight through. To my shock however, I was told the dog can only stay 60 days!

When I apply for a visa extension, do I have to apply separately for the dog or does she have the automatic right to stay if I do?

I assumed once she had an import license, (which does not mention any time limit) that was it for her and I wouldn't have to do anything else until we eventually left.

I was wondering if anyone had brought their service (dog) into the country when retiring in Thailand and knows of the policies regarding bringing a service dog or simply a pet into the country?

Does Thailand even recognize service animals?

I realize Thailand already has its share of soi dogs and such, but wanted to ask this question specifically.
