Visa cancelation.

In December 2025, I've got my NON-B E-visa approved in Vientiane, Laos and I got 90days, unfortunately my employee decided not to employ me, when I asked him how do I cancel the visa, he said I dont need to because it wasn't issued by the immigration in thailand it was issued by an embassy.

My question is can I go immigration and cancel and recieve the 7days grace?

Please let me know

Sorry if this has been answered before I’ve been coming in on a METV for about 4 years, however on my next trip in Jan 27 I intend to apply for the 90 day non 0 with a view to the one year extension. I already have a Thai bank account and intend depositing the 800k around Oct 26 so that it seasons by the time I arrive.

I just need to confirm what my renewal day would be if I applied as soon as I arrive in January. Does the the one year extension start at the end of the 90 day visa therefore my renewal date would be March or does it start from the date of application making my renewal January.

When applying for a 90 day visa, do you have to give the entry date or can this be flexible. If it is flexible, how long is the visa valid for before entering Thailand 🤔

Hi, I’m asking on behalf of a friend.

He’s a 70-year-old UK citizen with about £80k in savings in his UK bank account. He’s been with his Thai partner for 12 years, but they’re not legally married. They both live in tge UK and are willing to relocate.

From what I understand, a Non-O visa based on staying with Thai family requires a marriage certificate, which he doesn’t have.

The Non-O- A retirement visa (1 year) seems to require a lot more paperwork.

So my question is: how can someone in his situation apply for an initial 90-day Non-O visa from the UK if they’re not married? Can he apply based on retirement only (over 50), or would he need a different visa first?

Thanks in advance for any advice 🙏

Hi ..I will apply for a 90 day visa when I return to my own country ..I will come back in November and start the application for a 1 year visa using the 65000 a month pension scheme..I hear many people say my pension must go into a thai bank for 1 year before I can get a 1 visa ..how is that possible if I don't have a bank account..I can bring 12 months of statements showing I get my pension from my home country..thanks
