The easiest visa? Easy — fall in love with a Thai, get married, build a family, and suddenly you qualify for the legendary “Non-O Visa based on Marriage to a Thai.”

honestly, its rewarding building a family together. Cheers 🥂

Lived in Thailand 4 years. In and out of the every 2-3 months, almost every single time I forget to do a tm-30. Not a big deal unless going to immigration.

Even with a $250 refundable fee plus $185 for a 10-year visa, that’s incredibly cheap compared to Thailand.

On June 1st I paid $80 for a 90-day Non-O from the Thai embassy (wrong date on the passport), had to repay it—so $160. After three months I had to leave to Laos and re-enter, wasting $300+. Then I just did a family extension for another $60.

All together, for just 7 months in Thailand, I wasted days of my life and over $600 on immigration. Over ten years, Thailand is easily 20–30x more expensive.

Yet Thailand = good and America = bad? 😂

have you seen the UK man who was locked in Thailand for overstaying on YouTube? He was able to smuggle a phone in to take videos. It was nightmare conditions. Kinda cruel you want America to do the same, but understand your frustration with the hypocrisy how people respect other countries immigration laws but want open borders for the USA.

Without photos how do we know if this ham sandwhich really existed? You also gave such little detail it’s not helpful at all. Such as what kind of bread? Was it toasted? Source of the ham? Sauces? Mustard? Mayo. We need details.

it’s taking 2 years. I filed May 2024 and they have not even looked at the first document I-130. We have been married almost 4 years now. Others are saying 14-17 months just to do the I-130.
