Is it possible to report someone who was approved in Hanoi for DTV by falsifying bank statements and earning records (it was so blatant that even the deposit amounts were not matching)? I have access to all this person’s application package.
Edited to add - This person is from the US and had defrauded other people.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the possibility of reporting an individual who allegedly submitted falsified bank statements with their DTV visa application in Hanoi. The comments reflect a strong debate, with many users advising against interfering and highlighting the potential negative repercussions of being a 'snitch'. The conversation touches on general attitudes towards immigration fraud, personal grievances, and Thai cultural values regarding privacy and community involvement.
Anonymous participant ahhh looking at my wife and daughter. Just confirms what everyone on this thread knows about you from your post. Here you go, this might help you.
Word for people like you "tout" and what are you coming on here anonymous to ask for attention and approval - how pathetic you are, a worthless character - have you been bullied all you life, no one cares what you do, attention seeker
Anonymous participant you got an answer you like. You already knew the answer, but posted here to stir up trouble for some reason. You should make it entertaining, and tell everyone your motive
I could understand more if this particular person had done something to you and you wanted some form of revenge. But if they haven't done anything to you leave it be. Nobody likes a snitch and it's bad karma anyway.
Royal Thai Embassy Hanoi are contactable via post, telephone, fax and email. What are you hoping to achieve? Hanoi Embassy may do nothing. The most that might happen is this man has to pay an agent/fixer for amending his application.
It looks like there is rampant fraud in DTV applications and calling it out hits a nerve with many posters. Let me know if you are interested in more details
Anonymous participant absolutely right, especially in the early days of DTV, but long history of falsifying documents for Thai Visa's especially using agents.
Anonymous participant - I am not sure that it is rampant, but I think many people don’t understand the rational for why someone feels the need to get involved in someone else’s business. Not sure your nationality, but it reminds me when you have Karens who get upset when someone else is bbqing in a park and they are not supposed to be, etc. It really isn’t the Karen’s role to play community police, so people get agitated, even if I personally also follow the rules. Also, the fact that you have access to someone’s documents reeks of jaded/upset ex who only goal is to harm the ex.
If you want to get Karma then yes go ahead. My reccomendation is to mind your own business and focus rather your own life improvement than pulling others down.
who do you need to protect yourself from with that gun you're pointing at a camera? Someone with blue hair wearing a dress? Keep compensating, bish. And learn the rules of gun safety before you hurt somebody.
