Hi everyone.

If we have 2 passports, and we enter Vietnam with one of them, but want to issue the dtv on the other one, is that OK? Or should we must issue the dtv in hanoi based on same passport used to enter Vietnam?

Thanks

Hello, anyone here with dual citizenship who changed passports while crossing the land border between Thailand to Laos? I know you cannot change passports in a "border run". My question reffers to an actual entry to stay in Laos for few days- while I apply for a Visa in the Thai Embassy in Laos.

Thank you for sharing from *real experience*, particularly if its the friendship bridge crossing next to Nong Khai that you went through.

Hi everyone! I am a dual Thai and American national and recently entered thailand on my expired thai passport. Unfortunately i cannot renew my passport until October (as I have been living abroad for so long, I need to make my first thai ID card in order to renew my passport which requires my mom to come over from the US and just takes time in general).

So I am stuck in Thailand for a few months longer than I initially planned and was hoping to do some traveling to some of the islands like Koh Samui etc while I’m here. I was wondering if I could use my current US passport to fly within the country? I didn’t enter thailand on my US passport so i dont know if i can use it to travel within Thailand.

Thanks so much for everyone’s help!

So after there was a lil misunderstanding in a other forum and now the thread is closed so i ask here again. Can I show up at a thai Landboarder (in my case mukdahan to laos) with old and new passport (new one is 5 days old when I show up at border and I have the letter from the embassy) and they stamp me out,let me leave the country?

Some ppl say better to transfer my last stamps and other say just show up at the border with 2 passports.

When applying for my (1st ever) additional 30 day visa exempt extension at MTT earlier this month, the IO advised that no further extensions would be made because “there wasn’t a half page free in my passport”. I did try to explain and show that there was space but to no avail. Does anyone know of this condition and would the free space shown below be sufficient if I wanted to try to apply for a (1st) ‘unable to travel’ extension?

I also have a second working passport, which I tried to explain to the IO at the time but didn’t push it, as I assume any transfer of extensions between passports is just too complicated?

Also, not being optimistic about a further extension due the stricter mandate, I wondered if I should amend my flight BEFORE I apply or just take evidence of it as it is now (currently lines up with my current exit date).

Finally, if rejected, is it officially recorded and stamped in the passport in a “thou shall never apply again” kind of way, or is it simply a verbal rejection? Also any grace period after being rejected or obliged to leave by your current exit date?

And is the app screenshot TM30 below sufficient to print and take?

As always, TIA 🇹🇭❤️

Hello all, looking for some advice about applying for a non-O spouse visa.

Does anyone know if it is absolutely necessary to have a certain number of blank pages in your passport?

Or can it be done in stages? For example you can start the process with 1-2 blank pages in your passport and then continue the process on a new passport?

Thanks!

a new question showed up in another question:

[Paul Irwin]([members only]) I have a daughter to a thai partner she is registered in.my name how do.i go about getting.a dual passport for her.cheers paul

* [

Benjamin Hays]([members only]) A "dual passport" does not exist. She can get both a Thai passport and a foreign passport. However, passports are not visa advice, and I expect this post to be deleted soon.

For foreign passports, contact the embassy of your country for the instructions.[2]([members only]#)· [Reply

Border run in Ranong - change passport?

I am about to do a border run via Ranong (exit and re-enter thailand same day) and i would like to re-enter thailand with a different passport i have from a different country (not in order to hide from thai authorities the fact that i have another passport, but for other technical reasons not pertaining to the thais, i can just tell them it's a question of saving pages and using the passport that expires first, if that helps).

I heard this is not possible? Anyone knows anything?

Morning! Need a suggestion. For the moment I have non-b visa and work at the school, will finish contract in 2 month and of course need to leave Thailand. My passport is full, so I've got new one. The question is: Can I leave the country with old passport and enter Penang with clean passport? Will they stamp it if don't see the stamp from Thai boarder? Airport, not land
