Are my Thai wife and I eligible for Parole in Place to gain her initial entry into the USA?
Hello I’m married and my wife is Thai . I am currently in the United States Army and recently heard of the Ucis Pip (parole in place) are me and my wife eligible for this to get her initial entry into America? As I am trying to avoid having to wait years for the marriage visa to be approved please let me know if anyone has information on this.

I'm a retired SNCO and my Thai wife has lived in the states for 37 years...there're ZERO legal/acceptance problems if you follow the rules but sadly obtaining the visa will be slowed because of other's fraud. In fact, your most frequent problem will be people trying to invite themselves to your home for an authentic Thai dinner. Don't listen to these hysterical partisans.

im not white first thing second thing as stated in my post im an American soldier which means I have a duty to fulfill my contract first. But thank you for your suggestion I am very confident that I will be able to keep her save and that she will not live in constant fear and tension due to the field of work I’m in.

Is your wife already in the US? I believe that's a basic requirement.
Last I knew the marriage visa was taking about a year, not years. It's also a much better experience for your spouse because they'll already have their full green card when they get to the US. That means they can start working and traveling immediately and it'll result in much less paperwork and cost a lot less too (by thousands of dollars).

it’s taking 2 years. I filed May 2024 and they have not even looked at the first document I-130. We have been married almost 4 years now. Others are saying 14-17 months just to do the I-130.

I think processing times differ based on where you live and the processing center your case is at. At least it did back in 2017.Activity
