sorry about that I-A meant O-A . Can I apply for O Visa during my first 30 days or do I need to get 30 day extension first? I will be retiring there so I guess I would need to do 1 year extensions every year? I am over 50 & can meet the financial requirements. Thanks
Mr. Robert the non-inn. I-A visa not exist in Thai?? Getting it in the USA for me would be a hassle as I live in Florida & would have to travel for a week to get it? I am planning on getting a visa exempt then extend it & apply for O-A or X while there. Is this possible?
doing by mail could be risky because I would really have to make sure there are no errors. When I’m in Thailand could I change it to a 5 year retirement visa? Are there any advantages to changing it? I live in Florida can the embassy in Miami do it? Thanks 🙏🏼
Following : I am also selling everything in the USA & moving to Thailand. Very inconvenient to get visa in USA Having to go to Washington or Nyc & drop off passport. Trying to find easiest way to make the move . Can I come into Thai on visa exempt then go to immigration & apply for non o or a non x for 5 years ?
I’m no expert but this will work with no visas. Get visa exempt for 30 days then get extension for 30 more while there. Take flight to neighbor country KL is cheapest. Go back thai visa exempt again repeat process over & over as long as you want.
I’m no expert but can tell you what I did . I from USA also . 30 visa exempt in Thailand then I went to KL then back to Thailand another 30 day via exempt which I extended for another 30 days. 90 days with no visa .
