some people have not needed this, but i just talked to a Russian man who with his family recently entered Thailand on a tourist and he needed to provide proof of accomodation for 60 days. he said if you write 90 days then they reject the hotels contract as the the tourist visa is technically only for 60 days and so including your extension in the duration is not accepted! From my weeks of research it seems that one must be prepared for everything as it really depends of which officer you get.
Thanks Mark.I heard that for entry on tourist visa that one needs to show 60 days of accommodation including hotels tax number! it seems so unrealisitic, but so do so many other things right now! let me know if you had heard of such a request. Thanks!
you would wouldn't you! But this is Thailand. I just asked an agent over the phone and she said no the passport holder does not need to do this, that I can do it for him. I will find out for sure when I head down there at 8.30am tomorrow morning! This is why I am posting many questions here on FB about visa and immigration...because you get so many different answers!
