TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Tourist Visa to Thailand, you typically need to show sufficient funds in your bank statement. The common requirement is approximately 20,000 Baht (around $600-$700 USD) to support yourself for the duration of your stay, typically around 90 days. However, this requirement may vary depending on the embassy, so it's important to check specific embassy guidelines for the exact amount needed.
there was a police man(cambodian) 10 years ago in front of Phnom Penh embassy he was making thai tourist visa.I didnt accept him. Then he was angry to me haha.Is he still there? That time visa was easy to get.Now very difficult. If someone sees him please tell me i want to contact to him.Maybe retired haha
Now there's a Pittbull sitting in a box and doing a pre-check of your docs. He doesn't help, he just makes problems. My lady had to book a return flight, even she lives only 5 minutes from the land border. Asking for the supervisor you only get a "nope".

Check the website, I believe it’s 20,000 baht, or equivalent in your home dollar amount

With a Tourist Visa, they want to see 20,000 Baht. That is somewhere between 600-700 Dollars. Used to be 700 but the Baht is down since I was there before COVID.

Just curious as to why my post was removed?

I'm curious, what on earth are you trying to do/achieve? You've gone from visa exempt, asking about visa runs/border runs, to asking about non-EDs for you/your kids, non-O based on non-ED for your kids, and now a tourist visa.
