Anyone know how often KL Thai Embassy update their online booking system for 'visa applications'?

There seems like there are hardly days available and I am still waiting for embassy to reply to my email.

Makes it hard to book a ticket when you don't see many available times for pre-booking your appointment with them online....(⓿_⓿)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the frequency of updates to the KL Thai Embassy's online booking system for visa applications, expressing frustration about the limited availability of appointment slots. Commenters suggest alternatives, such as using consulates in Laos and caution regarding Malaysia's immigration practices.

Be very careful of Malaysia immigration. They harass everyone

I have never used that site. My companion visited twice in 4 months (not border or visa run) and almost got denied entry and called “dishonest” for no reason; some people presented some docs and they tried so hard to find excuses to turn them away… very unfriendly to tourists or visitors. Blacklisted that country already

Witnessed they harassed everyone in line at KL. Hope you won’t meet those who wouldn’t stop flexing their muscles every sec they have. Don’t go to M’sia often. They def don’t welcome frequent visitors like many other countries. I think you need an e-visa for Vietnam. It took about 3-5 days to process

Oh that sounds bad. Can you tell me what they were hassling people about and seeing that you were there recently, how did you manage to get your self an appointment with them through their online booking system? They only have like three days left for March and I cannot even see the page that shows the month of April???? [I attached a photo for reference].

Is there a specific reason to use this embassy? Both consulates in Laos would be better options as far as scheduling.

I know I am starting to think the same thing! I am doing research for my husband who has many dietary restrictions and it is in Malaysia that he can easily access the food that suits his health. Plus as an Aussie in KL we need no visa which is an added bonus! Laos could well be easier, but we have found that the easier an embassy is and the more people find out about it, the more people go and eventually the immigration embassy staff get overwhelmed and start rejecting applications! But you are right, scheduling is an issue, so may need to be willing to adapt! Can't wait for this whole process to be over, but we are just at the beginning of getting more stable visas for our family!
