I am currently applying for the DTV visa from South Korea and have received an additional document request:

"Proof of Accommodation in Thailand: Lease Agreement or Invitation letter to the Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul. (Typed with sponsor’s signature including reason, period, pp no) to certify your stay (Upload Sponsor's PP and ID copy, etc)"

Since this visa cannot be applied for from within Thailand, how is it possible to submit a Lease Agreement? It is unrealistic to sign a rental contract online without even seeing the place.

Has anyone else encountered this request? If so, I would appreciate it if you could share how you resolved this issue.

Hello. Has anyone applied from Rome, Italy? I will apply via e-visa on Friday, but I still have questions. In the DTV documents section of the site, they ask for proof of entry-exit flight reservation and proof of accommodation. When I arrive in Thailand for accommodation, I want to rent a house and I only booked a hotel for 2 days. Should I make a reservation for the number of days I will stay and show the exit flight ticket?

1. Flight Itinerary showing flights into and out of Thailand

2. Proof of accommodation: Copy of hotel reservation / rental contract/deed. In case of residing with a family, an invitation letter from the host family along with a copy of their undersigned Thai ID or house registration is required. The name of the applicant must be indicated clearly, or

Destination Visa in Jakarta, i see here that you talk about proof of accomodation, what can you bring for prood of accomodation?

Hi lam coming tomorrow Thailand on the 25th of November with a 60 day visa free entry, but would like to extend it to 90 days.

Is it possible to ask on arrival for the extra 30 days or should l wait and extend my stay by going to an immigration office in Bangkok ?

Also as l have a Thai friend who will be picking me up l do not have a hotel reservation or proof of Accommodation, but will be staying at a resort but will book when l arrive, would this be a problem on arrival without proof of accommodation.

Hi all thanks for accepting me as a member of your group.I'm coming out too thailand on the 2nd Dec until 28th February,the problems is ive already had 2 stays in thailand from 10th July until 6th Aug and from 27th September until 17th October this year.After reading about visas it's confusing me which if any visa I will require,ive emailed the thai embassy regarding this and upto now not had no reply back off them after sending it last week.I want to make sure everything is legal and done properly,it is also saying on the visas application they want proof of my accommodation which upto now i can only prove 28 days which I've booked into a hotel.This being i wanted to travel around thailand and neighbouring countries for all the remaining days,any advise or recommendations would be helpful thankyou in advance

When applying for DTV outside of Thailand, in one of other asian countries around

Do we need to show them a plane ticket for Thailand ?

Even if we’re not sure that our visa will get approved and when ?

And do we need to show them also a proof of hotel or rental contract for a house in Thailand ?

It’s not making a lot of sense for me

Visa advice: I'm extending my ED Visa in a couple of days, but instead of providing me with the traditional TM30 pdf form, my landlord has given me a "receipt of notification" form. Will immigration accept this as proof of accommodation? Thanks

About to submit my DTV application from Ho Chi Minh, does anyone know if you need to show proof of accommodation in Thailand? I will bring proof of my hotel booking in Vietnam.
