makes sense, I use QR quite often and haven't hit any limit, and I'm pretty sure I have used it more than 30 times in a month, mostly businesses though.

Its 30 QR payments per month. But I haven't yet hit the limit, and I've been using it for a good few months now. Heck might not even be a limit 🤣

Just get a Truemoney wallet, you can pay QR and pay bills etc. Only difference is you have to withdraw cash from an atm and then load it into your wallet via a Truemoney store machine (upto 20k) or via 7 Elven and Lotus (2k each per day limit).

Saves me and my wife a lot of hassle. Highly recommend it

Get Truemoney Wallet on your new phone, you can transfer to that with your Thai account and still use QR through the true wallet on your new phone but also true money. Doesn't fix still having to have your old phone, but its a workaround so you don't have to have your old with you when you need to pay for something.

You should be ok, I had a similar application, after showing proof it was enough. But I would ask your partner to write up something about the contract you have in place, just in case.

I recently discovered Truemoney wallet through the members in this group. It's a 100 times better than anything else out there in my opinion (apart from the Bank account itself) for being to pay with QR/Promptpay etc. Yeah only hassle is you still have to withdraw cash and then deposit into the wallet, but it's easy enough through True, Lotus and 7 Eleven

Brought my dog from Spain had to get a certificate of export from a vet and complete the Thai import forms. Was fairly straightforward, and no need for your dog to do visa runs, but you can always take the out with you, but I think you need to have some kind of certificate with proof of vaccinations
