I am currently a DTV visa holder and applied for my spouse under the dependent category on Monday, including a sponsorship letter. However, the consular requested additional documents to clearly show my salary income in the bank statement I submitted. Since my salary is paid by my home country bank in mmk currency, I used my Bangkok Bank account for the statement. To address the request, I submitted my last six pay slips, highlighted the currency exchange transactions in the bank statement, and provided a clarification letter. Has anyone else experienced a similar situation?

I’m planning a vacation to Sri Lanka at the end of December and need advice on applying for the Digital Tourist Visa (DTV) in Colombo. Could someone share insights on the process? Specifically:

1. What documents do I need to provide?

2. Do I need to book an appointment, or is it a walk-in process?

Any additional tips or recent experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Applied at Vientiane, Laos on 1st November, and returned my passport with DTV visa on 5th

Documents submitted:

1. Passport and copy including Laos entry stamp

2. Employment contract

3. Employment certificate stating that I am working remotely, salary and company

4. Company Registration profile

5. Six months of statements which has THB 500k + on end of each months

6. My rental contract in Thailand (I booked long-term condominium)

7. Application form with 2 photos attached

Questions asked:

1. May I see your bank account? And I showed my mobile bank app

Visa fee:

Accepts only in Thai Baht currency which is 10,000 Thai Baht

Since I will be doing my first Non o visa extension (marriage) soon, I need help with some details. I would really appreciate it if someone could answer my questions, as I want to be prepared and not have to go back to the Immigration office multiple times.

1. My first question is about the House lease agreement.

I live in a condo with my wife, a rented apartment. I have a rental agreement, I have a copy of the apartment owner's ID (with her signature) and a copy of the household registration, blue book (with her signature).

Are these documents sufficient or must they be originals when applying?

2. Regarding the family photos, I know I need two photos in front of my building showing my wife and me and the building number. Two photos inside (kitchen, bedroom).

Can I print two photos on one page of regular A4 paper, landscape? Are there any special rules about those photos, other than not being selfies?

3. And the last thing is about the map.

Can I print on top of the A4 paper a google map from my building to the Chaeng Wattana office and below that, on the same paper, draw a map of the route from my building to the first main road?

P.S. I will get a total of three documents from the bank. A letter proving sufficient financial savings, a statement for the last three months and an updated bank book on the day of application.

I have no questions about the other conditions, they are clear to me.

DTV approved today from Vietnam HCMC!!! I’m so happy!

I applied as a freelancer on Tuesday morning and received the e-visa this afternoon (by e-mail).

They asked 3 times for further documents (on Tuesday afternoon, this morning and this afternoon).

So it was stressful. I am finally feel relieved.🙏

Dear experts, good morning. Before I head out the immigration office in RAYONG this week to apply for a 30 days extension on my 60 days exemption stay, I want to make sure I have it all together. I have the TM7 form filled out, rental contract, id and blue book copy for my house owner.. is there anything the immigration could ask in addition? Got approved in Austria 🇦🇹 in the category workcation, freelancer.

Created a professional remote work portfolio and added all documents I thought would be useful including:

- Company certificate that these exist

- income tax return of my company and salary slip of my employment of the last 2 years,

- remote work agreements signed by business partner and employer (created by myself)

- bank statement from the last month to proof the 500.000 THB (I transferred the money in that month to this account)

In the portfolio I have shown my areas of responsibilities, the online work tools (Canva, Notion, Microsoft Office) I use with screenshots, explained what my tasks are in the company and my motivation for remote work.

They asked for the bank statements of the last 6 month of my company after 4 days and in total the application took 10 days. The visa fee is 350€.

I’m applying for DTV in Taipei or HCMC end of October/early Novemebr.

I have cover letter, letter from employer, bank accts with necessary money + highlighted direct deposits into my bank acct from my employer, USA drivers license, house rental contract in Thailand, and USA passport, birth certificates for all 4 kids and marriage certificate for my wife.

I’m coming off a 1 year work permit here in Thailand. Been living here for 2 years.

Where is a printable DTV visa form? (All I can find online is E visa form)

Do I need a form for each of my kids and wife for their follower on my DTV? Or do I just give embassy their passports with my application?

Do I pay 10,000baht for each of my family members too?

Any recommendation on HCMC vs Taipei?
