you’re 100% correct. Merely sharing the last time “I checked”, which was Monday. This week. In Hong Kong. On the ground.

BEWARE, I was asked for EVERY SINGLE bank statement for the past 6 months. Not one statement showing a 6 month period. So, March, Feb, Jan, Dec, Nov, Oct were required. (This was in Hong Kong, yesterday at the Thai consulate)

Guess it's all about the Chinese now. We're simply not welcome. Such is life.

You mean if you extend a tourist visa you need to get ths TM30?

Tod Daniels They spent ages thumbing through the docs. Like they didn't know what they were looking at. An American guy at the next counter was screaming that he doesn't normally have to supply these docs etc. They would not let him submit without them. So, be warned. (There is a photocopy shop around the corner that was doing a roaring trade - I had to go there TWICE!)
