Interesting - I wasnt aware PP needed bank account proof of funds for a SETV, never heard if this, nonwhere else in the region does (and I know from experience :) ). Is this a unique PP thing?

Are we reading the same thing?? the guy has gone to the embassy and been told he needs proof of funds - he never mentions immigation or flying in.

at which point did I use the word immigration Cody? Obviously it was the embassy - unless immigration now has an office in Cambodia :)

it's the most likely reason.

@mark Im not sure which markets you are referring to but there are markets either side of the bridge - heading north left hand side on thai side, right hand side on the Tachilek side. I know the Thai one dips down to the left on the road up to the friendship bridge in part - question is - is there water either side of the bridge itself and more importantly can the border songteaw from the bus station float if there is :)
