seems to me there is a person that is making comments on this group and they are totally nonsensical and nothing to do with peoples questions perhaps should be blocked no malice intended.

We do not know if everyone knows anything about visas or extensions. As long as the conversation is on the group, we, as all members, including moderators, can see the information if anything is incorrect for each other.

Keep in mind:

-Someone could do her visa/extension by herself successfully doesn't mean she understands all procedures and requirements correctly.

-Someone understands his visa/extension procedure and requirements correctly doesn't mean he can explain those in the right way or with appropriate terminologies.

-Someone can explain her visa/extension procedure and requirements in the right way doesn't mean she understands the differences between your situation and hers precisely.

I am new to the group, but can someone explain why comments seem to be shut down by admin quite often? I was going to comment on new US Border info but couldn't? thanks

After another snotty reply from that total plank tod I am out of the other group. Had enough of the moderator who don't even show his face on his profile and loves to rule the roost.

There have been a number of posts criticising the actions (not comments) of admins in this group. We all want to see it stay as the best Visa advice group in Thailand. I too at times am frustrated by some posts getting closed, comments removed etc. But it is a group run by very experienced and knowledgeable people who have every right to edit the content. This group has helped me many times with accurate, up to date information. To accuse Robert of being biased in regard to immigration is just wrong.

Almost every day I delete comments.

I asked several times, people please behave yourselves.

This is in the description of the page:

Everybody is doing their best to give advice to the best of their knowledge, please do not judge, or make jokes of other peoples requests or comments. If you can’t give any advice just scroll to the next question.

I do not care who start or who react. If a name giving competition is started all will be removed from the group and the replies are all deleted.

Let's keep this group nice with respect to each other and helping each other with Thai Visa advice.

Don't let me use the remove user from the group button, I know it is part of being a moderator but I don't like to do this.

Okay, seeing as that topic posted by Nilton, ran wild (in my opinion) I deleted it. :O

Nilton, once you get the real story as far as what visa she had, how long it was good form, when she entered the country, if she exited and re-entered the country without a re-entry permit etc feel free to make a new post.

I will caution members of this group to stay on topic and not turn these threads into a pissing or slagging match. This is a group to exchange information about visas and extensions to thailand, not to debate the pros and cons of living here.

I am sorry if it seems I'm being heavy handed. :/

Looks like admin needs to take a look at some of the recent posts and start booting people off the group

There have been more than a few threads that have gone WAY off topic recently.

Just so you know this group isn't the Thai Visa forum where you can bitch piss and moan about the injustice of how the thai visa and extension system works.

I believe this group is for people to come, ask visa/extension related questions and get accurate and timely answers from the very knowledgeable members of this group (BTW: we now have over 10 thousand members (y) )..

-Please don't drag threads too far off-topic. I'm all for spirited conversations but when they get really far afield I don't see them contributing to the original posters questions.

-Refrain from personal attacks because you will be blocked and banned without warning. There are enough b/s f/b groups out there where you can flame people to your hearts content, this is not one of them..
