Technically 1 year, 10 months and 14 days. It's dated 2 years from the date I accepted the position. BOI Non-Imm B extensions are 2 years.

Not necessarily - no cards handed out by Airasia on my flight KUL--CNX 10 days ago and I even asked for one. "Get at airport" I was told.

My understanding, having received a 90 day non-imm B from KL less than 2 weeks ago while applying for a 1 year visa, is that it is converted/ can be extended by one year once you get a work permit.

CM today - back from overseas. Had the building management update my return online this morning (TM30 just needed a renewal, not the whole process), went to Prom with no paperwork, they stamped my old TM30 slip with new date. Done....but lets not mention how long the queue was :)
