I want to thank everyone for sharing their experiences on here. However if possible if you could include the embassy, papers required and passport or place of residence it would really help a lot of people figure this out as I see a wide variety of requirements for the very same visa at different embassies.

I've submitted my DTV application on 29th OCT and got pending approval on 30th OCT. Now, it's been two weeks. I applied at Phenom Penh Thai Embassy Cambodia. Has anyone experienced how long it takes although it says 10 working days. I'm worried and waiting. šŸ™

Hi everyone,

Could anyone clarify how far in advance weā€™re allowed to apply for the DTV? For exxample, if I plan to arrive in Thailand in March 2025, would it be possible to submit the application as early as December 2024?

Has anyone had experience with this through the Hanoi Embassy? Thank you for your help!

It's probably still early days yet, but just so we know for sure through empirical evidence, has anyone already entered, exited and re-entered Thailand on their DTV and gotten a new 180-day stamp on their 2nd entry?

I did a search for "reenter" and "reentry" in the post history and I don't see anyone sharing that info yet. (I know we all understand that's how it's supposed to work but I'm just trying to make certain that someone's actually done it :))

As I said it's probably too early for anyone to have done that yet but if someone happens to, please do share!

UPDATED WITH PICTURE OF VISA.

NON-O Visa (Thai child)

Here's my experience with HCMC Thai embassy.

Made an appointment online for today..showed up with Copy of my daughters birth certificate, ID card & house registration book

I didn't print anything to do with financial statements as it wasn't very clear what they wanted as all it says on the website is "2.5. Applicantā€™s financial statement of adequate finance is required." They wanted 6 months bank statements and a balance of 20k in any bank/currency.

Showed 6 months statements from Krungsri download from app and printed and a print out of current balance of Lloyd's UK bank and paid the 200USD visa fee.

Received my wee slip to pick up the 12 month multiple entry non-o on Tuesday..copy shop just round the corner so quick and easy if needing extra paperwork printed out.

Hello everyone!

I am interested in applying for a DTV in Phnom Penh, I am flying there next week. Who has recently applied for and successfully obtained a visa? Can you please tell me your case, what did you provide from the documents?
