You should remain in your embassy/consulate jurisdiction until approved. You run the risk of them canceling your application/visa by entering before approval.

Phil Salisbury it does not need to be a JPEG. The Thai e-visa site absolutely accepts PDFs.

TDAC isn't a visa and plays no role in your length of stay.

From Canada, you get 60 days visa exempt upon arrival. You can extend an additional 30 days at an immigration office for a fee.

Phil Cefiro that additional charge isn't VAT. It's import tax. Duty. Not VAT. VAT and import tax are not the same things. Telling OP that VAT is 37% is not correct.

So I question who's not understanding things here, because it isn't me. 😎
