install the app and follow the on screen instructions. At some point you'll need to upload (trhu the app itself) a photo of your passport bio page, a selfie and a photo of your latest entry stamp and your DTV visa (the print version of the PDF file).

You know we can use non-Thailand issued cards to pay Bangkok MTR, right? Just saying in case anybody doesn't know. I just found this like three months ago 😂

I'm a remote worker myself, on DTV. I've been here for 15 months. Not even a second I have needed a Thai bank account 🤷🏻 I get my salary in my home country bank account and use the cards here. For QR codes TrueMoney is very useful, and as a matter of fact it comes with bank-like functions, that I'm actively using: it allows to transfer money to Thai Bank accounts (I used it when I needed to pay for a cruise I booked online), and it gives virtual Master Card cards (I got two) that I use to pay Disney+, ChatGPT, YouTube etc. with local prices.

Mr 5 Bank Accounts I'm not American, but yes, that's right, it seems it's the same system as the US. If had income from X country, I wouldn't need to pay income for it in my home country.

It seems some other European countries also allow to do something like what you mention.

I get it. What I mean is, in my home country that's not an option. As long you earn income in the country, you'll always need to pay for it, even if you don't live there (I'm talking about my home country case).

would your UK company be willing to pay you in the Georgia account? Is that legally possible? For many countries that's not possible, for sure.

it depends on dual tax agreements also, for pensions.

I'm not from the UK and I have to always tax in my home country if I have income from there (I do).

I work for a local (home country) company and my business is also legally registered in my country. So, not my case anyways.
