There are no DTV-accredited cooking schools in/near Hua Hin. Sorry.

regardless, my point stands that the TM30 is always indirectly required. Without one, a CoR will NOT be issued.

most DLT offices won't accept a Certificate of Residence unless a TM30 is on file. So indirectly, it is still necessary. 🥲

gotcha, if you don't have a motorcycle endorsement on your home country's license, then yes you'll need that or a Thai DL to legally drive a scooter/motorcycle which will require the TM30 (and other things).

If your friend refuses they can technically be fined. You could also stay at a hotel for a night and they'll file one for you. That's probably the easiest option (I noticed others mentioned this too)

Paddy Mcmullan it can be needed for far more than that... extensions, 90 day reports, driving license, buying a car, residence certificates, etc.

That said, OP doesn't really need one unless he's doing any of these things. (And the friend can technically be fined for not doing it)

Jack Son filing the TM30 is the property owner/manager's (wife or not) responsibility and is generally who receives the fine.

You're better off leaving and re-entering the country. Don't bother with an extension.

Log back in and pick up where you left off. If you never saved your progress, you'll need to start over.

There's no such thing as a "full DTV".
