Can I travell up to 60 days on a TDAC.I thought it was just 30 days
Answer summary
The TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card) is not a visa and does not dictate how long you can stay in Thailand. Travelers from nations eligible for visa exemption can enter Thailand and receive a 60-day stamp upon arrival, which may be extended for an additional 30 days at an immigration office. The TDAC is simply a form required to notify immigration of your arrival, while the length of stay is determined by the immigration stamp on your passport.

Thailand ‘visa on arrival’ is 60 days currently for many countries
Check your country, on the list of ‘visa on arrival’
It means you do not have a visa.
You do the TDAC arrival card before arriving.
Then at immigration passport control, they will stamp your passport for 60days.
If whilst in Thailand you wish to stay longer than 60days, it can be possible to extend it for additional 30 days at the appropriate local immigration office.
The TDAC is also required to enter your country. It’s just called arriveCAN. Many countries need some kind of notification that you intend to enter. If the website you visit to enter the travel details ask for payment, youre on the wrong page. It’s free but some scammers set up fake websites. The stamp you receive into your passport will tell you how long you’re allowed to stay. You’ll get 60 days if you arrive as a normal tourist for the purpose of vacationing which can be extended for another 30 days. But most working people don’t have 90 days paid holidays so 60 is enough for most travelers. Even with a long term visa you need to have a tdac. It’s a quick thing to do. Many infos they ask is optional anyway. You can leave some fields blank like visa no. Happy travels
You don't travel AT ALL on a TDAC. It's an arrival card. Once you've arrived it's done. The stamp you get at immigration determines the length of your stay, whether it's 30 days, 60 days, 90 days or 365 days. Nothing to do with TDAC
Lot of crap on the web. You know something? Maybe asked the question here because maybe stupidly thought some would be happy to help. Is it really a problem?
Ross Calder TDAC has nothing to do with how many days he can stay. TDAC expires the moment they arrive in Thailand. It all depends on their passport and exempt or visa they buy.
AtrustworthyJaguar Correct I was referring to the 60days and letting them know that they can stay longer by going to immigration. The TDAC part had already been answered
You can travel 60 days on visa exempt, but like stated TDAC has absolutely nothing to do with visas or length of stay. It is a Thailand Digital Arrival Card notifying immigration that you are about to enter the country, nothing more
Leslie Wheeler yes they do, but it is still nothing to do with your visa and how long you plan to stay. you can stay for 60 days if you are from a visa exempt country, or even longer if you extend it
Leslie Wheeler it depends how long you want to stay if it’s inside 60 days then free visa on entry if longer under 90 pay in Canada you don’t want to run to immigration after 60 sometimes headaches and you will pay for that 30 same you pay for 90 from embassy tdac do 2 days before taking plane i personally suggest to have a return flight booked and proof of funds

baht or 800$ cad give or take don’t listen to people that say otherwise those are the actual rules yes you can do things the wrong way and pass through but sometimes people get picked off and then they make a video on social on how they got refused 😂😂
Leslie Wheeler you are exempt for 60 days but only 30 days extension if you do visa from thai embassy in advance in Ottawa you will get 90 plus 30 extension it’s easy to do on
Leslie Wheeler Thailand has an embassy in Canada check it out. I would expect that Canada is among the 100+ countries where currently visa-exempt 60 days is granted on arrival. Do not take my word for it though, check with the embassy and keep being updated (it might change again).
You can't travel any number of days on a TDAC, because a TDAC is not a visa. It's an entry card. It has nothing to do with how many days you can be in Thailand. It's just you filling information to indicate you are arriving in Thailand.
I just wonder if I have to make a new THAC when I make a border run fo extending my visa, and how many dags before my present visa expire. Thanks in advance.
