How can I obtain a SIM card for internet and WhatsApp usage in Thailand?
please advise how to obtain telephone card for using my internet and whatsapp,
Answer summary
To obtain a telephone card for using internet and WhatsApp in Thailand, you can purchase a SIM card from various places. Options include heading to Bangkok Airport, or visiting a telco such as AIS or Telewiz. Additionally, you can buy a SIM card at any 7-Eleven. Make sure to bring your passport, as it's required for registration. Recommended plans include a 199 baht package offering 30GB at 15Mbps for 30 days, which is sufficient for most casual users. Some users also suggest using eSIMs as a convenient alternative.

Same as you can in your country. You go to a telco and buy a plan. Or even

7-11. Take passport. Ask for the 199 baht plan. Gives 30gb at 15mbps for 30 days. Plenty fast enough unless you need mega speed for anything. Once you're set up and download the True app, it offers several promos for faster speeds if you find you need it.
