Fyi sandbox is several places, not only Phuket.

layover/connecting flight is ok, but the connection had to be outside of Thailand. Your port of entry to Thailand must be Phuket.

I don’t think so, have to go through mainland. But it’s just boat to Ao nammao about 15 minutes, and a couple of hours by van to lanta

because you have to pay for the classes as well, as the visa is based on you enrolling for classes. So of course you cannot get free teaching just by paying for the visa. Teachers don’t work for free 😅

i’m pretty sure that’s not the case anymore? Or at least not everywhere. Ive been on several weekend trips the last year, and i had no issue getting my extension yesterday.

thank you, i got the re-entry permit at the same time as i got my extension yesterday, so i think i should be set now. Only thing remaining is getting the Thailand pass for return in 3 weeks 🙂
