Hey, I need your help please. I would like to start of next year March for approx. 1 year to Thailand to visit several schools for Muay Thai aka Thai Soft Power. I've been trying to reach the consulate for 14 days. By phone and mail. But no chance. What kind of visa should I apply? DTV? And when should I apply for it? Thank you very much for your help. Best regards

Ich probiere seit 14 Tagen das Konsulat zu erreichen. Per Telefon und per Mail. Aber keine Chance. Was soll ich für ein Visum beantragen? DTV? Und wann soll ich es beantragen? Vielen lieben Dank für eure Hilfe. Liebe Grüße

I'm trying to decide between applying for a DTV or an ED visa. Anyone have experience with either? What are the pros and cons?

Hello group,

I hope to get some advice from you here. My daughter will be studying in Bangkok for a year. University starts on August 13th, and we are arriving in Bangkok in mid-July for a vacation. We live in Holland and have a tourist visa valid for two months.

My question is:

Should we apply for an Education Visa for our daughter before entering Thailand?

Or is it better to enter Thailand on a tourist visa and apply for the Education Visa later while we are in Thailand?

Thank you in advance

Hey , so around the summer of 2027 I’m going to be leaving out the army (not retirement) I’ll be 28 and my plan is to use my gi bill to go to college full time learning Thai for 4 years. Any advice of work from home jobs certifications or savings amount and anything else that is recommended to make the move easier that I should do before I move there. I have 2 years to prep.

Good evening,

I am currently studying as an exchange student at a university in Thailand and am on a 90 day non-ED visa. Since my visa expires on December 4 and I am studying until December 15, I would actually have to extend my visa for 1900 baht. Could I just leave before December 4th and come back after December 4th with a visa exemption or will I have problems if i do that? I also have to leave the country again for 8 days over Christmas and then come back to Thailand until mid-January and then go home completely. So i would Need 2 more Visa exemptions. Does anyone have any experience of this?
