On an ED visa. Need to cancel it. Finishes in 17th Feb. Original plan was to go back to UK and return. Test & go cancelled has changed that ๐Ÿ˜„ (don't fancy quarantine or Phuket)

'If' covid extensions are still a thing then, will the 60 day extension be from the day I go to immigration to get it or from the 17th Feb?

Thank you in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user needs to cancel their ED visa set to expire on February 17. Due to changes in travel plans, they inquire about the timing of a possible 60-day extension related to COVID measures, specifically whether the extension begins from the expiration date or from the day they visit immigration to apply. Comments indicate that extension approval varies by location and timing of application.

Depends on where you get the stamp, some places give from the date your current stamp expires, some others from the day you apply, you'll have to do some research...
