TLDR : Answer Summary
Families can obtain ED visas individually; both parents need separate visas, and typically cannot share one. At least one parent should learn Thai, though technically, there are no strict enforcement measures for children under 15. A child can apply for a dependent visa based on one parent's long-term visa. The current cost for an ED visa is about 2,000 baht when applied independently, but the language school may charge differently, often including visa fees in lesson packages.

I remember ED visa from language school cannot applying spouse. So you must do for both persons. Not sure about the kid

Price for the visa would be 2,000 baht if you did it yourself, but almost certainly the language school will need to apply for you. Their costs will vary and you’d have to check with them what they charge. Usually it’s a package of lessons plus visa.

I found price 2,000 baht and also 30,000 baht , so that is big difference and I don't understand which price is the correct price :D
because you have to pay for the classes as well, as the visa is based on you enrolling for classes. So of course you cannot get free teaching just by paying for the visa. Teachers don’t work for free 😅
ofcourse, i understand. But for example, they say 27,000 baht for learning and 15,000 baht for visa... And renewing visa each 90 days 5000 baht.. So in reality its not 2000
per year, per person. It depends on which school you choose. 1900 thb is the visa stamp cost at immigration, this is either excluded or included in the price. My school gave me a 1 year stamp so I didn't have to renew every 90 days.
2,000 baht is the official price of the visa application. However almost certainly you’ll not be able to do it yourself, so the school will offer a package that includes the visa and tuition charges.

If applying in country each parent would need their own visa. And as you can’t enter Thailand with one unless it’s for a university course or international school then you can’t apply at an embassy (where one parent could piggyback off the other).
Your child can get a dependent visa off of one of your long term visas. Technically they don’t have to as they can’t be fined for overstaying (up until 15), but it’s best to keep things above board.
