It becomes a problem if you don't do it right, immigration miss it and then stamp you in wrongly. You've then got too go and sort it out

So what use was a reentry permit? You would either have a single entry visa unused, a multiple entry visa not requiring a reentry permit or a reentry permit keeping an extension of stay alive or a reentry permit keeping the end date of a visa alive and the remainder left on it.

No. Your visa would of been finished hence you had a reentry permit 😊

If you have a visa you put the visa number. If you have a reentry permit, you put the reentry permit number.

Even so, surprising to see that stamp from there with only 2 previous visas and from KL not Laos.
