it is allways your first personal visit if you leave the country and come back. since most people do not do the extensions they will allways have to go in person.

there was NEVER such official wording. it was stupid people that didnt understand the initial proposal correctly and spread these false „news“. plenty of yt videos about it.

Anonymer Teilnehmer yes i accidently missed my last one by 6 weeks and recently did it when i requested a certificate of residence. no problem at all and no fine.

Why are there complaints about the visa extension process in Thailand?

the problem is that it’s impossible to get a bank account for most people on DTV. so in case of hua hin you would be unable to do the extension at all. i dont see other visa extensiobs beeing completely prevented by the IO
