Places you stayed at? I’ve always been TM30 reported wherever I’ve stayed in Thailand. Wether a hotel, serviced apartments or a home stay. And never had issues getting a screenshot copy
🧐😅 some are willing to take pretty stupid risks. No way I will ever have my passport to a non government entity, ever. But I would also never use a dodgy visa agent
Per-e Goso Heikkin using a visa agency is in itself risky. Too much grayzone “business”, and you can do everything yourself with a little bit of research. Willing to bet thousands have been scammed over the years by dodgy visa agents
Months visas 😉 They are both 60 day visas, single vs multiple entry. In both cases (extendable) 60 days per entry. But you have 3 or 6 months to “activate” them by entering into Thailand within that (validity) time.
There was a STV visa that had 90 days that has been discontinued.
Brian J. Dean If your wife has a work visa, you can also apply for trailing spouse visa from Laos. You do not need a agency for this. Again huge waste of money and too much gray area and downright illegal stuff that risk you entry ban.
You would need your wife’s work documentation, invitation letter from her company, your marriage documentation and so on.
Brian J. Dean we really need to know your entry history to advise. And visa agencies are a huge waste of money. But if your land entries are used with exemption entry, and you have a few entries already this year, then your best option is to head to Laos and get a proper Tourist visa. METV being the best option.
If you try visa exemption entry again, chances are very high you may get pulled aside for questioning.
Head to Savannaketh and apply for a proper single or multiple entry tourist visa. Takes a few days. Then cross back into Thailand via Chong Mek land border (it’s a very easy/friendly border)
The 2 land border entry limits does not apply for dedicated visa.
That is what I would do. Screw the agencies, can land you in serious trouble.
