I ask for advice from those more experienced than me, I entered Thailand with a 180-day multiple entry tourist visa, arrived on February 5, then left and came back, finally left again on August 4. Now I would like to return at the end of November and stay another 6 months, but more than one person has told me that they could deny me entry into the country because I have already stayed too long; I am an Italian citizen, how much time must pass from when I left the Kingdom (August 4) to be able to return? I am 58 years old but I am not a pensioner, what type of visa do you recommend I get? Thanks to those who answer me

TLDR : Answer Summary
An Italian citizen entered Thailand with a 180-day multiple entry tourist visa on February 5, left on August 4, and now seeks advice on how long to wait before returning at the end of November, as multiple sources have suggested that entry might be denied due to overstaying. The discussions include insights on visa policies, the specifics of entering under a multiple entry tourist visa, and recommendations for applying for a NON-O visa or retirement visa that allows for extended stays.

credo, ma non ne sono sicuro, che per il visto non O siano 60 senza prova finanziaria. Per estenderlo di un anno servono 800k baht in una banca Thai invece.
You only say when you first and last entered on your METV but not how long you stayed each time you entered and whether you tool the 30 day extensions at all. These are the things that can get an entry denial not the number of times you have entered.
you can get a retirement visa even you're not retired. You just need to show u got 800.000baht in your bank account. If you've already spent 6months in thailand this year then it's true you could be possibly denied.
Apply non o (retirement), you get 90 days that you can apply 1 year extension on. That you can then apply re-entry permit if you need to go in and out of the country
They can deny you... Always. The question is, will they deny you?
I have been here 10 years, most of that time I have been on tourist visas... I could be lucky but I think it's more about Thai Immigration being pretty easy-going.
