After it got cancelled you have 24hrs to leave country. If you have letter from your employer you can extend 7 day at local immigration but you pay 1900 for 7 day extension.

If you have RE ENTRY PERMIT they don't ask you to show proof of funds. Before leaving immig. passport control, check your passport make sure the officer put the right date that match to your visa expiration date.

In time for visa renewal go to the immigration 15 days before the date so you have time just in case any changes happen. Bring your wife with you.
