Business day 8 since applying for DTV visa. Went from requesting more docs to pending approval back to pending document check… but I heard this is normal. American using Ho Chi Minh City embassy.

Looking for recommendations for retirement visa agents pls, preferably one that can do it with passport only rather than having to attend in person. I’m around Khon Kaen if that helps.

What did y'all do for the estimated 2 weeks for your visas in ho chi Minh city. ?

Am I correct in thinking if it's a thai public holiday 5th December and 10th December that means all Thai embassy are closed?

Sat on pending approval and my friend just got approved at 5pm but I submitted additional documents couple hours after was hoping he boxed off this week but just seen about public holidays

Now that it's "Pending Approval"... Does this mean they won't request more stuff from me, or is that still possible to happen?

Trying to non-o visa online. Question requires flight details. Do I need to buy airline ticket before l receive visa. Was hoping to get visa first then get airline ticket.

Has anyone applied for the DTV in Thailand and then left and come back to activate it? I probably won’t do this, but wondering if anyone has had success. Since I’m already here would just save a lot of time and money. I know there’s a risk that they ask for all my passport pages or proof of flights, etc.. I’m just wondering if anyone else has done it.

My friend applied outside the country but then came here and got approved while here and it was fine. She just left on a border run and stamped back in with six month DTV yesterday.
