I was previously in Thailand for 3 months (visa exemption + extension), after i booked a trip to vietnam to apply for the DTV for 1 week but my visa is still processing. Can I let it continue processing and reenter thailand on a visa expemption for an additinal 3 months and then hopefully it gets approved by then and I can reenter on the DTV?
After my visa application got cancelled, I don't have any other option except to try applying again. But at the same time, I'm running out of time on my Vietnamese visa — I’ll have to leave the country by tomorrow at the latest.
Which embassy should I choose between Penang and Jakarta?
These would be the best options for me because my country doesn't require a visa for up to 30 days.
Unfortunately, my tax bill for 2024 was huge. I have applied for and was approved for my LTRV in the hope that I won't have to pay taxes next year. If I'm here on a non 'O' and get my LTRV within 180 days will I still be eligible for taxes for 2025. LTRV also asked me to cancel my non 'O' in order to have LTRV stamped in my passport but immigration in Surin refused saying you can only change your visa on expiry of old one. Which isn't until 25th June. At a bit of a loss. Can bkk immigration cancel my non 'O' before they stamp my LTRV. and please no wise cracks about avoiding taxes or my income please.
Question.. Im applying for my visa and I have a question. Im from California USA, have a California ID with my fathers address on it. Im currently living in Missouri USA. I don't mind my fathers address being on documents so he can collect mail etc. but would this mean I should apply through the embassy in LA rather than Missouri?
Hi everyone. I applied for DTV in Malaysia but for personal reasons need to fly out of Malaysia to Indonesia. If I open a new DTV application under the Indonesia embassy, will I run into issues if my first application is incomplete/pending?
The application is asking for my Thailand address for when I return.
I’m currently travelling and applying from another country obviously, so I have no idea where I will stay when I return. Is that something they check up on or am I overthinking? But I just put a random address, a random date and book a very cheap hotel on Agoda for that date or is it not an issue?
