I have a question. I was denied entry into Thailand. Insufficient funds as I wasn't carrying 20,000 baht cash. I've been in Thailand for a long time and had a mix of Ed visas, b visas, and tourist visas. Also, I am finishing my Masters at Chula and I was stupidly not on an Ed visa as when I went to apply in Laos the paperwork had been wrong and they'd offered to give me a tourist visa instead so I took that. I then went back to Canada for a month and got a multi-entry tourist visa as I am pretty much done my studies and wanted to stay longer. They didn't like that I had multiple tourist visas in my passport (two and then one B visa and one Ed visa from before). I just want to be able to get into the country for a few days as I do have stuff there and I'd like to go to my graduation ceremony. They marked that I had insufficient funds for entering. 2 and 9 in my passport.
What are the chances of me getting back into Thailand either right away or for my graduation ceremony in October if I were to have the money, a tourist visa, a flight back to Canada, hotel bookings, and a letter from Chula?
I don't think my university can get me a new Ed visa as I'm pretty much finished and I don't think they can get it just for my graduation ceremony but I am asking them.
