Section 35. An alien who temporarily enters the Kingdom under Section 34, the Director-General or an official assigned by the Director-General may permit him to stay in the Kingdom under any conditions.
The period of time permitted to stay in the Kingdom shall be determined as follows:
(1) Not exceeding thirty days for cases under Section 34 (4) (8) and (9).

🇹🇭 Has anyone experienced “comments” in the Thai immigration system?
Some travelers have reported receiving shorter stays or facing stricter questioning at the border after entering Thailand multiple times within a short period. In certain cases, visa agencies later confirmed that a “comment” (internal note) had been added to the traveler's immigration profile.
These comments are not visible and not officially communicated, but immigration officers can see them when scanning the passport. They may be triggered by recurring patterns such as:
Frequent entries and exits within a short timeframe
Short stays outside Thailand between entries
Behavior that resembles visa runs or long-term stays without the proper visa
This raises questions about how such comments might affect future entries or visa applications, and whether they can be viewed or removed.
Some common suggestions include:
Applying for an ED visa, which is possible if at least 45 days remain on the current permission to stay
If only 20 days remain, it may be too late to apply from within Thailand — applying from Cambodia might be safer
Using the e-Visa system, if applicable
Waiting a few months before returning, to allow the situation in the system to “cool off”
Any experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Just got back in Bangkok! Got aproved yesterday enter today, not questions asked . Lots of people in the detention area and my officer took someone out of the line because apparently was recording in that area. Best of luck to everyone . Thanks again .
Has anyone done a visa run to Cambodia lately, just asking my first time, any problems, planning going in a few weeks , do you get another 60 days for Thailand on return, thanks
Hello from Switzerland. Thanks for admiting me in the group. For me the best is to ask for an O non immigrant visa for people over 50 years old by internet on the website. It is little bit more expensive than 60 days exemption and 1900 bahts for extension visa 30 days and you win lot's of time not waiting and making queue at the Immigration Office and have to pay for taxi go and back.
Not sure if this has previously been shared or communicated. Phuket immig has now removed the B3m insurance exemption/ waiver for the OA visa holders who arrived before Nov 2019. I wasnt able to verify this with an officer as I was unable to get past the gatekeepers they now employ, and I stopped bringing my insurance policy several years ago. They say it was gazzetted in sept last year surprised not to see anything in the media about it 🤔
I would like to stay in thailand 4. 5 or six months on a tourist day visa Do I first have to get a 90 day Visa in the United States?Would that be the first step
