My boyfriend is lived with me from September he has 2 month visa he wants to take me to malaysia in October for 5 days before he goes back to england will he be able to get back into Thailand until the end of October

Ok. Visa on arrival 60 days and I need another 60 days . What s the best way??

Immigration only get s you another 30 days.

So maybe better to Laos for 2 nights? But do I need a visa for this visarun??

Or any other country for a few days where I donot need a visa?

My visa exemption extension is going to run out on the 1st September. Am I right in thinking if I fly to Malaysia before then and come back I will receive a new 60 day stamp?

Also, can I just come back the next day from Malaysia? Like a 24 hour trip.

Hello. I am 68 years old. Last years I had Visa for 90 days, I went from Phuket to Kuala Lumpur for 1 night and come back in Phuket ( stamp at immigration for 30 days more).

Next holiday , on december 2024, I plan to stay in Phuket for 117 days, with flight round trip for Italy ( my country ).

Can I have first 60 days extempion Visa arriving in Phuket , than go to Kuala Lumpur for 1 or 2 nights after 59 days, come back to Phuket , and have more 60 days extemption Visa ? Thanks for help.

I have a 60 Day METV entered the country May 27th- Visa expires in November- July 27th , I understand that I am suppose to get a 30 day extension. However, I want to leave on July 25th to go visit KL for about 3 days...Do I still get an extension here in Phuket before I leave or when I fly back into Phuket will immigration re-stamp me with another 60 days.. Sorry if this sounds confusing.... I'm confused 😁

This might be a silly question but I’ve done my 2 land border entries, but can I enter Malaysia via land & reenter Thailand via air? Does that count as an air entry or does it have to be both ways?

Is a re entry permit already obtained in passport valid for train journey to Kuala Lumpur via pedang basar and return ? Some info seems to indicate viable only through international airports? Thanks

Hey, just wanna hear same experiences with our situation. Parents on Ed-visa. 2 toddlers overstayed. We are planning to fly out to KL after our ed visa expires and come back after 1 week here in TH. Toddlers overstay for 1 year. What are the circumstances that we might encounter at Immigration? I’ve read that toddlers are not banned and fined. Can I apply for a 60 day tourist visa to Thailand online while I'm in Malaysia, or do I need to go to the embassy in Kuala Lumpur and apply in person?
