Great to know! I have a 30 day visa exempt starting June 2nd and I thought I would have to buy another month's insurance in order to extend an additional month.

Most states have a web site from which you can download your QR code. I was able to do so in Virginia.

The Washington DC consulate would not accept my local police background check. It had to be done by the State Police.

When I applied for a 90 day visa a local police report would not be accepted. I had to get a report from the State Police.

In the US they would not accept a "local" record clearance but would accept one from the State level.

The last time I applied for a Thai visa in the US that required a criminal background check the Embassy would not accept a local one but did accept one from the state police.
