Sasi Techapunyo they might not be able to do anything but they can probably give him accurate information. But I agree the best thing to do is probably come directly to Thailand to inquire.

yes aspirin is legal but restricted. A trained pharmacologist can legally sell it without a doctor's prescription.

Ruud Maenhout sure paracetamol and ibuprofen are it. Even after a major accident doctors are unlikely to give stronger pain meds.

You need long pants. When I went the first time, after all the paper tests we went outside for the road test. The officer in charge was addressing a group of foreigners but his English was not good. He realized that I could speak Thai so he asked me to translate for him. As I was doing so, he then noticed I was wearing shorts and told me I had to go get pants. There wasnt much time. I had to jump on my motorbike (for which of course I had no license) and quickly buzz through heavy traffic to go and buy a pair and come back before the test was over. The trip to get the pants was far more challenging than the actual road test! 555.
