When I came here on a tourist visa, doing exactly what you are planning (except it's was 89 days), I bought a flexible ticket out within 60 days and as soon as I got past immigration in Suvarnabhumi I just cancelled my flight and went to immigration on day 55 to extend my visa 30 more days, getting a new ticket lut of the country before I applied.

So. Do that.

98% sure that no Thai authorities ever check that app after you've passed your 5 day test. And they're scrapping that test now. So. Welcome to Thailand 🥳👌
