Hi everyone, I would share my experience of reentering Thailand from Cambodia. I just arrived in Phnom Penh a few days ago from BKK by plane, and applying Visa and preparing to come back Thailand.
What do you need before departure from Bangkok to Cambodia?
1. Air ticket, single way is fine.
2. Hotel booking, just a few days is fine, copy the reservation. I booked 3 days.
3. Cambodia E-visa, just apply on line (www.evisa.gov.kh) and you'll get it via email within 3 working days. 36 US dollars. You must copy E-visa.
4. Vaccined proof, either certificate or vaccine passport is fine, but you must copy.
5. Before your departure at BKK airport, you must do PCR test within 72 hour. I went here : www.medconsultasia.com
1500 Baht per person, they give you result in 8 hours and send result to your Email, so you don't need go to the clinic again to pick up. Just (MUST)print out the result from your Email.
Advise all documents have 2 copies each, with original documents together.
6. They will give you PCR test after customs stamp when arrive in Cambodia(I landed on Phnom Penh),
but don't need to pay anything, just sit there and wait for result, it needs about 20 or 30 minutes for waiting result, then they will tell you that you are free to go.
There are some tip boxes on the PCR test desks and they wish you pay some tip but you don't have to do that. Some customs staffs might ask you(especially if you are Chinese) for tips as well, you just ignore and say no. I said no to all of them and there is nothing wrong with my customs stamp and PCR test in Phnom Penh airport.
When take a taxi from Phnom airport to city, you better have a check online with information, airport staffs might work with taxi drivers together and they might quote 9 or 8 US dollars to city. I bargained with a Tutu car and paid him 4 dollars. You can use Grab to book a car or Tutu car in Phnom Penh airport as well.
Phnom Penh is not super clean and well organized city, but I heard that Siem Reap is very clean and well organized place.

From Cambodia to Thailand, I haven't done but I'm preparing. What below is what I know.
1. You must go to Thai embassy in Cambodia to apply Thai Tourist Visa, 40 dollars. No online applying. Here's details: [members only]
So you need: 2 profile pictures; Booking copy of double trips tickets (in and out Thailand), you can choose a real return flight and pay but can cancel with full refund; 1000 US dollars on bank account proof; Fill the form which you can get from Embassy.
Application time: 9AM to 10 AM only from Monday to Friday. You can get result of Visa within 3 working days.
But, if you hold CHINESE PASSPORT, then you must stay in Cambodia longer than 6 months and then you can apply Thai Tourist Visa and get result of visa from Thai Embassy within 3 working days. If you live in Cambodia less than 6 months and apply Thai Tourist Visa then you can get result of from Thai Embassy about one month and half later. This is for Chinese Passport holders only and I'm quite sure, as I'm meeting this problem right now.
2. After you get Visa, then you can apply Thai Pass online. You MUST apply Thai Pass to enter Thailand.
You must buy covid insurance.
You need PCR test within 72 hours before departure at airport in Cambodia.
You must choose one night (the first night) hotel from the list on SHA extra +, when you arrive at Thailand, the hotel should come to pick you up at airport and they will give you PCR test at hotel and you must stay in the hotel until the next day they have result of PCR test.
I think all details of requirement above will be showed when you apply Thai Pass online, just follow the guide.
