I'm in Thailand, but going to Malaysia on a 4-day trip.

Can I apply for a 60 day tourist visa to Thailand online while I'm in Malaysia, or do I need to go to the embassy in Kuala Lumpur and apply in person?

Swedish passport holder. Currently in Thailand on a visa exemption stamp.

TIA

Answer summary

A Swedish passport holder currently in Thailand is inquiring whether they can apply for a 60-day tourist visa to Thailand online while on a 4-day trip to Malaysia. According to community feedback, Malaysia does not support the e-visa system for Thai visas, thus requiring the applicant to apply in person at the embassy in Kuala Lumpur.
