In an interview with The Nation newspaper the new Foreign Minister confirmed that the DTV will continue under the new government.

Taipei DTV UPDATE: Same Day (or 2-3 days max) processing.

Went to Taipei’s Thailand “embassy” today and here’s what I learned

1. Foreigners can apply just with a passport and the visa application + your required documents (bank statement printed + soft power or proof of your remote work etc.

2. 9-11:30am every business day for visas, you get a number and they will call you . Drop off passport and documents

3. Within same day you’ll be notified if your visa was approved or rejected (and they will explain why)

4. PAYMENTS: You only need to pay AFTER it’s approved in cash which is incredible. The fee is actually REFUNDABLE if it doesn’t get approved.

5. The cost: 11,000 TWD (approx $360 USD)

No word on dtv going away or anything? Applying in Dec. and hoping all is the same.

Are DTV recipients required to do 90 day reporting?

Successful Application in Taipei Via Medical / Dental route took 2 days.

I've got a couple of appointments booked in and took letter of my treatment plan.

And obviously met the other criteria for "Soft Power" from there Website...

Hi, i’ve seen a good flight ticket going to Tapei. But i discovered there is a stop in Seoul. Which of these two places is easier (time, no boring, live cost waiting) to apply for DTV (for the ones who did it) ?

Anyone here used Fitfac Muay Thai academy to get their DTV?
