that's false information. I got a bank account many months ago on Visa exempt with the help of an agent. I still had a Visa exempt now and had to go to the bank for phone verification with no problems. I have a non O visa now and still have the same bank account

I don't understand what everything is about. I had the same situation. I just went to BB and got paperwork and went to AIS and they took my picture and give me a paper to take to the bank and everything is alright

Is everyone so tight on money. I opened bank account on Visa exempt stamp, still have one but working on my marriage Visa. I just paid an agent a fee and had no problems opening an account. If you don't have enough money to pay an agent a little then you don't have enough money to live in Thailand
