so if he continue with the Non B visa, he does not need to inform the immigration that he is married to a Thai , since it doesn’t affect his Non B visa, correct?

You can apply for work permit if you already have the non o (spouse) visa.

No need to apply for Non B visa. If you use Non B visa then u’ll have to leave the country immediately if you quit your job.
