What's the reason you can't leave your partners side, your post says it your relative in the US is the one that is sick. A little bit confused by your post. Because you also state you can't Travel. Don't mean to offend you But it sounds like a lot of excuses to get your partner to the US one way or another.
I don't think an insurance company would include all of this in a policy, probably take a death policy for X amount of money than put it in a will or stipulate it to your family that the money from that particular policy is for this purpose. But yeah expecting the insurance company to sort it all out, I think is highly unlikely.
You should familiarise yourself with how things work in thailand, before you dig a big hole for yourself, I would strongly suggest renting for a year or so,and learn what you are and aren't entitled to, before committing your hard earned money to anything, and that the marriage is going to work. Im not being negative, It's just friendly advise, I hope it all goes well for you.
that's a bit much I think that 20,000 baht a week for 20 years, I'm always coming and going I have a house and family here and I've spent 70,000 in 2 months and I have twin daughters in nappies so my biggest expense are the nappies and milk formula and beers which would be 20,000 of that 70,000 and we have a/c going

and spent 6,000 baht every 2 weeks on groceries, so I do think you can live here for a lot less than a million over 20 years
😆 most are like that, go into Global house the staff out number the customers by 3 to 1🤣 wages are fairly low and so is rent so they don't have to be super busy to make a living.
There are only certain jobs you can do in thailand, like jobs thai people can't do, or there is not enough thai people to do it, it's about taking jobs away from thai people, the government is very strict about what jobs foreigners are allowed to do,that's why people are laughing at your question, it's been asked a thousand times, but if you don't come here often or live here, you would not know this.
