Sorry about the anonymous post I don't usually do it but don't want a certain person bugging me. Done my second entry today at chiang khong and it was smooth asf. Leaving laos he said you only stayed one night but I had my print out to hand and (laminated with dtv print out on one side and soft power document on the other side.a smile and through in 2 mins max. On the thai side exactly the same but took a bit longer as the lady was interested about my cycle touring as I was entering with my touring bike.took about 3 mins max. Showed my dtv but she just passed it back to be with a โคกดีและปลอดภัยเดินทาง.

Have accidently washed my passport.(well missus has) all intact except the thai stamps have been washed out !!

All except the date of expiry ( see picture).what do I do ?

UPDATE !!!

Thankyou.all the advice .

Eventually got through to.my embassy. Who advised going to immigration here in Kap Choeng.

The very stern looking lady in a very very starched uniform. Told my beautiful wife to be that a trip to Chong Chom border to get stamped

So off we trot.

9 stamps later , 1500 bhat and all is good.

Will definitely get a new passport when I return hone and will always , and I mean always check my pockets before removing and shorts.

Thanks again for all the advice and minor ridicule 😊😊

Hi everyone, has anyone recently entered Thailand with less than 6 months valid on their passport?

We are in Thailand and want to stay an additional month until end of May, we already have the one month extension and will need to do a border run in April. The passport expires end of September 2023.

Any advice is appreciated! Thank you :)

I was denied entry in June at Dong muang airport and sent back to Spain. I waited for 6 months, get new passport and try to come again by Thai/Malaysia land border. I was taking for questioning and asked me what happened last time. I said I was denied entry because I had many entries in the pass, but like I had all the requirements with me. I could get in. This biometric system works, they know everything.

Hello, I need to make a Mae Sai border run this month. I know they can ask you for funds in cash but can anyone who has gone recently tell me if they do actually ask you? I hate carrying around large amounts of cash if not necessary. Thanks!

Might not be the place to ask - but I am in Mukdahan and am having real trouble finding the correct place to go to get stamped out of Thailand. I’m in the vicinity of the bridge, loads of trucks queuing to go out and I did find an immigration office but it seems to be closed.

Any advice gratefully received
