Hello everyone, I entered Thailand with a visa exempt and got the extension already. Today I got a new passport from my embassy and the old one is now void. I am leaving in two weeks by air.

The question is:

1. Can I simply go to the airport, show my old and new passports, and get it sorted out there while going through immigration, or...

2. Do I need to go back to Laksi (where I got the extension) to transfer both stamps before flying out?

I would think that since it's a visa exempt, and already extended, number 1 should be alright, but I am not sure.

I would appreciate some insights.

Have accidently washed my passport.(well missus has) all intact except the thai stamps have been washed out !!

All except the date of expiry ( see picture).what do I do ?

Eventually got through to.my embassy. Who advised going to immigration here in Kap Choeng.

The very stern looking lady in a very very starched uniform. Told my beautiful wife to be that a trip to Chong Chom border to get stamped

So off we trot.

9 stamps later , 1500 bhat and all is good.

Will definitely get a new passport when I return hone and will always , and I mean always check my pockets before removing and shorts.

So I expect to get my replacement passport sometime this week. My current extension of stay is valid until the end of June. At that time I will need to leave Thailand.

Do I need to get my current stamp moved to my new passport if all I am going to do is leave. I have the old stamp in the old passport.

I received my tourist extension visa today and they stated this would be the last time I could enter Thailand on this passport because it got wet and “damaged” before. My issue is that all of the relevant pages show no issues and there are still 20 clean and unaffected pages still to be used. There are only a few pages that show issue and should have no bearing going forward. Anyway to dispute this?

got caught in the rain and just realized my passport took some damage. IT is all fluffed up and the most recent page the ink bled pretty badly. How big of a problem am I looking at?

I have just come back from Thailand to the UK and accidently put my passport in the washing machine "yes I no lol",I have a retirement visa and a multi entry visa stamp in,the retirement visa stamp is fairly clear and readable but the multi entry visa not so much, and the photo page is still good,question is,will I need a new passport,If I do what is the procedure to transfer the the visa stamps to my new passport

I’m a UK-passport holder, got a 60-day eVISA and went to Phuket under the ‘Test and Go’ scheme in mid-Nov.

I lost my passport in Bangkok 8 days ago ; made a police report in Bangkok, then reported it to the UK authority and ordered a new UK passport online.

My questions are:

When I get my new passport, can I get it re-stamped in Chiang Mai Immigration Office? Or do I have to get back to Phuket Immigration or Bangkok Immigration to have it done?

I still have the photocopy of my old passport (only the photo page), eVISA, COVID vaccination certificate, Thailand Pass, police report ; However I lost the landing slip too, which was attached inside the old passport ; What are the procedures and documents needed to get my new passport re-stamped (in Chiang Mai Immigration if possible)? Are passport photos needed for this process?

Final question is not related to VISA issues – does anyone have any advice or recommendations with regards to sending my new passport from UK to Thailand?

My husband lost his passport and he already get a new one last week.

- Does he need to do another TM 30? (we already done that online, just curious if he need to do that again because in the system he need to be in the place that we stay at least 24 hours.)

- should he edit his profile as well? because we register TM 30 online by ourself

Hi Everyone. I have a non-b extension of stay in my passport that is valid until January. However, I need to replace my passport outside of Thailand due to it expiring soon. What is the correct way to handle this? When I replace my old passport, it will be marked as invalid by punching holes through it. The new one will not have the extension of stay. How do I reenter the Kingdom? Thanks!
