I got DTV and I’m in Thailand now. I want to buy health insurance. The online application asks for Thai identification card number. Where do I get this ID card?

Does anyone know of a insurance company who will do a 3 month policy for the retirement non-o 3 month visa?

All the company's I've tried only do 1 year and I want to apply in Australia to save the hassle doing it in Thailand but won't be staying in Thailand for a full year. Meaning I'll be leaving not long after I'd apply for the 1 year extension and don't require a year policy.

Cheers

Asking for a friend.

My buddy has a retirement visa issued within the Kingdom. Currently he is in the USA and wishes to return to Thailand and has a current visa.

What are the best options for him to minimize cost of insurance. He has not plans to return to the US. He may go back after a month or after a couple of years. He has US insurance but not the Thai covid insurance. He doesn't want to buy a lifetime supply.

Should he buy onward travel to Singapore (or other cheap destination) with necessary week's worth of insurance and just throw away the ticket to Singapore?

Are there other options available to him?

Anybody have any thoughts? Experiences?

I know this has probably been asked a lot but I can’t find any answers. I am going to Thailand in January. Where is the best place to get the Covid health insurance certificate and the confirmed Asq hotel booking . I also read the hotel booking is no longer required because they are doing the new test that gives you results in 15 minutes and all you do is go to one of the hotels . How do I know which hotel to go to for the test and arrange that . Sorry just a little confused . Please help. Thanks .

I want to stay in Thailand for 4 months but the insurance options are 3 months and then 6 months? I want a insurance policy for my actual time in Thailand. Any suggestions? The difference from 3 months to 6 months is quite significant?
